- Join an established group of 3 physicians, 2 diabetes advanced practice clinicians, and 3 diabetes nurse specialists
- Outpatient endocrinology clinic care with shared in-patient call responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who have endocrinopathies including disorders of the pituitary, parathyroid, thyroid, adrenals, pancreas, metabolism and bone disease Provide appropriate follow-up care of patients (both in-clinic and remote)
- Collaborate with other specialties (such as endocrine surgery, nuclear medicine, nephrology, cardiology, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, among others) in the care of patients with endocrinopathies
- Supervision and teaching of medical residents and students in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Opportunities for supported clinical research and quality improvement work
- Active involvement in division meetings, quality improvement work and CME (such as Medicine Grand Rounds)

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University is seeking a full-time MD/DO for its Susquehanna Family Practice/Gender Wellness Center (QFP/GWC) (www.genderwellnesscenter.com); with the option to participate as a fellow in our one-year, New York State Department of Health Transgender Clinical Scholars Training Program (NYSDOH TCST). QFP/GWC has been offering high quality, evidence-based primary care in Oneonta since 1994. In 2007, we began embedding transgender and gender diverse (TGD) healthcare into our primary care practice. From 2016-2019, members of our interdisciplinary team received leadership training from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to create a rural-based center for TGD healthcare that provides gender affirming medical, mental health, surgical care, legal advocacy, training/education, and conducts community-based research. In 2023, we were awarded a grant from the NYS DOH to develop a fellowship program to train a new generation of health care providers. Our fellows learn to address healthcare disparities for TGD people across the life span, making health care more accessible, sensitive, and effective. We share educational resources with our partner programs at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center and Mount Sinai in NYC. We are now recruiting for our second year of this program.

- Join an established group of 4 FM Practitioners and 3 Mental Health providers in a rural-based family practice/gender center to provide primary care for cisgender and TGD youth/adults across the lifespan
- Provide evidence-based, quality primary care to cisgender and TGD youth and adults, including the provision of gender affirming hormone therapy and pubertal suppression
- One-year non-accredited graduate medical educational program, heavily clinic based
- Half day/week of non-clinical time for self-study
- Flexible curriculum based on level of experience
- Participate in GWC interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings
